Elio Gaviria is an award-winning soloist, chamber musician, and collaborative pianist, currently based in Manchester and member of the Morelia Trio. A graduate of the Merit School of Music Conservatory in Chicago, she is in her fourth year at the Royal Northern College of Music, studying with Benjamin Frith. Elio has performed at venues including Manchester Cathedral and is set to appear in 2026 at Wigmore Hall and the Royal Overseas League. The album features original piano works and thoughtfully curated arrangements designed to accompany ballet training, combining musicality, rhythm, and expressive nuance to inspire dancers and listeners alike. The majority of the album highlights music by Hispanic composers, reflecting Elio’s deep commitment to celebrating her cultural heritage. With this project, she bridges her two passions—classical piano and dance—creating a unique musical experience that honors movement, artistry, and identity.
